What term do I use when describing bundles of sticks? How do I pay for this software? Why does this software reply with the word yes?

Close but not quite I am looking for a product similar to Glass Cutting in order to do upholstery calculations. What I would prefer is purchasing the background code which calculates the best layout and therefore the least amount of material required. I would then integrate this into an application based on ASP.net. If anyone knows where this code is available I would appreciate their assistance.

good and bad Having trialed this software it does a fantastic job for rectangular "sheet chopping". One nice feature is that if you have your order requirement and add in some ongoing standard sizes, using the scrap from the order if there is any. Simply use the min/max feature, setting your min requirement for your standard pieces to zero and a high max number. You get great optimisation. Unfortunately the nesting of "profile" pieces seems dismal. It imports non standard shapes with ease, but fails to perform with the shapes we have put in . . .and they are not difficult shapes. Real Cut 2D is a good computer program, but i look for a diferent aplication ,who allow me obtaining optimal cutting layouts for diferent shapes on the steel plates with diferent thickness.

I found your software ok. But I could not run cost on the version of your software you have to try out. You did not have an archive of material to pick from so that means I would have spend my time making one. You could use one with basic lists of different types of plywood LDF MDF HDF, and melamine. comments for Real Cut 2D: Kamloops Glass I've use it only four times and was very helpful. When I made my entries, they would not list in the order that I entered them. This made it difficult to double check for any mistakes I might of made. There should be a freature that keeps that order and then one that would sort in any certain order. I perhaps haven't use it enough to be familiar with all the featurs.

Would have been nice to have some directions on how to use, but once I figured it out, I was able to get what I was looking for. I was really looking for a software/tool that would tell me how many of "x" size pieces we could get from a "y" size board (where x & y are known)- but I was able to work around this and get my information.

found it a little confusing to use but when i played arround for a while managed to get it working ok, good bit of software but there are also some easyer to use bits of kit also for free demo hope this helps. Im only using for personal use not for buisness.
